command tank Panzerbefehlswagen 38(t) Ausf. E, F & G late for Tamiya No. 369
The Panzer 38(t) command tanks or „Panzerbefehlswagen“ of the late variants Ausf. E/F and G had not longer the usual frame antenna over the rear upper hull, but had an antenna base and a raised mount in center of left track guard. The Ausf. G had also the 50mm driver front plate with reduced number of rivets, vehicles of this type served for a time as command tanks after the regular Panzer 38(t) had been phased out. Our item contains a new driver front plate for fitting onto the Tamiya hull. On some of the late Panzerbefehlswagen 38(t) the 37mm main guns were most possibly dummies, the gun barrels were fixed in position and could not fire. For the show this on the Tamiya kit, a new modified turret front plate is included, the gun barrel of the Tamiya kit can be used. The sets contains an assortment of personal gear, canvas rolls and crates which are identical with parts from MR-35628, but all the specific parts for the command tanks are only included in MR-325633.
