The completely new model of the Faun L912/45A hood tractor developed by Arsenal-M represents the later variant with a Deutz V12 multi-fuel engine, as it was delivered to the German Bundeswehr from 1961. The cabin and hood have been reproduced correctly for this vehicle type. The model is well thought out, requires a little skill and some experience due to the many delicate components, but is easy to assemble. However, the weak point of the model for us were the wheels, so we decided at short notice to develop a new set of wheels for the Faun. The former Roco Minitanks wheels included with the model do not fit the Faun's rims without modification (drilling), so a new set of wheels was advisable.
The MR Models wheelset contains new tires manufactured using 3D printing and newly manufactured rims for the rear wheels and the spare wheel. The spare wheel holder in the kit must be changed for the new spare wheel. If you are confident enough to do this, you should make the spare wheel holder from scratch. The MR Models wheelset MR-87181 contains a spare wheel without a rim for the rim on the spare wheel carrier. A spare wheel with a rim is of course also included in our wheelset for the new replacement wheel carrier.

This wheel set can of course also be used for the Minitank model of the Faun L912 SA tractor unit!
